Base Salary

$180k - $265k/yr

Responsibilities

Architect and build core UI components and shared libraries for Zocdoc’s search experience.
Collaborate with design and product teams to create intuitive search interfaces.
Develop and optimize React and GraphQL flows for low latency and reliability.
Integrate LLM capabilities and embeddings into patient-facing search experiences.
Drive architectural direction and set engineering standards through documentation and code reviews.
Mentor engineers on frontend best practices and system design.
Implement observability to measure and improve performance across the search journey.

Proven track record of owning and scaling complex user-facing platforms.
Significant experience with shared UI/UX components or design system libraries.
Deep expertise in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, including performance optimization.
Experience with GraphQL APIs, preferably with C# backends.
Familiarity with search technologies and ML-powered ranking models.
Exposure to LLM-driven search and streaming interfaces.
Strong communication skills to align engineering, product, and design teams.
Passion for mentoring engineers and setting engineering best practices.
Experience in cloud-native environments and scalable web architectures.
