Base Salary

$238k - $302k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop modular architecture improvements for ADV to maximize performance and compute utilization.
Evolve compute usage for efficient operation on vehicles and in data centers.
Collaborate with onboard teams to identify and resolve compute performance bottlenecks.
Work with hardware teams to optimize software for performance on hardware platforms.
Ensure strong performance in complex driving environments.
Design systems for low latency in collision avoidance.
Develop high-scale performance evaluation and software change management processes.
Optimize system resource usage in cloud datacenters.

BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Physics, Math, or related field.
6 years of software engineering experience on large scale/high complexity systems.
2 years of software management experience in performance optimization.
4 years of experience as a technical lead in performance/software infrastructure.
4 years of experience in C++.
Ability to define project roadmaps optimizing for overall results.
Experience in setting up collaboration structures across teams.
