Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize software solutions and applications.
- Apply scientific methods and software engineering practices to analyze and solve complex software engineering problems.
- Contribute across research, design, development, maintenance, and the broader software development lifecycle.
- Supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
- Operate independently in highly complex environments and take responsibility for a substantial aspect of Capgemini’s activity.
- Balance business, technical, and people objectives while supporting recruitment and development of people.
- Develop long-term partnerships with clients and apply commercial and negotiating judgment in complex situations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience and expertise across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to exercise original thought and judgment and solve complex software engineering problems.
- Ability to supervise and provide leadership to other software engineers.
- Ability to operate independently, manage difficult situations, and understand broader business objectives.
- Ability to balance technical, business, and people considerations and understand commercial and negotiating principles.
