Responsibilities
- Design, build, and improve backend and full-stack systems for HTS Assist and customer self-serve flows.
- Develop scalable APIs, microservices, and orchestration logic for complex post-booking journeys.
- Collaborate with product, design, AI, and operations teams to enhance customer experiences.
- Integrate with external systems to support internal use cases and partner deployments.
- Own features end-to-end, from technical design through implementation and monitoring.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Analyze system performance and user behavior for optimization opportunities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong technical background in frontend and backend development, distributed systems, and APIs.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Ability to break down complex problems and make pragmatic tradeoffs.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
