Responsibilities
- Work AI-first across coding, design, planning, reviews, and innovation throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design and build agentic AI systems, including multi-agent workflows, tool-using agents, and orchestration.
- Apply and evolve standards such as MCP, AGENTS.md, and SKILLS.
- Evaluate and select AI models based on cost, latency, reliability, and capability trade-offs.
- Build scalable, production-ready software and integrations.
- Deliver AI demonstrations, thought leadership, workshops, and presentations to engineering leadership and C-suite audiences.
- Stay current with AI market trends, frameworks, and emerging technologies.
- Mentor colleagues and help raise the engineering bar for developer experience and code quality.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of MCP, AGENTS.md, SKILLS, and tool-calling patterns.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude UI/CLI/Claude Code, and OpenAI or Codex-style tooling.
- Expert experience with RESTful APIs, web standards, and related security principles.
- Experience with Java, JDK 17+, Spring Boot, Python, and Shell scripting.
- Strong experience with UI frameworks such as React, ideally Next.js, and Angular.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, and Prisma.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain AI concepts to engineers and executives.
- Comfort operating in R&D and early-stage environments, with a passion for innovation and mentoring.
