Base Salary
$160k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive module software requirements across the vehicle.
- Capture and manage feature/function requirements formally.
- Lead functional safety strategy and governance.
- Act as the primary lead for requirement quality and failure analysis.
- Govern execution of interfaces architecture and integration readiness.
- Recognize system-level constraints and develop feature/function requirements.
- Build and mentor multi-disciplinary system/feature teams.
- Establish engineering governance and technical decision-making frameworks.
- Use system experience to drive architectural enhancements.
- Act as the primary liaison between architecture and cross-domain systems engineering teams.
- Translate complex technical risks into clear decisions for stakeholders.
- Automate manual workflows to reduce human error in the release chain.
- Interface with electrical design teams, software developers, and supplier integration teams.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 12+ years of experience.
- Expertise in automotive system/platform development and modeling.
- Experience delivering platforms reused across multiple vehicle programs.
- Background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or advanced mobility systems.
- Familiarity with cloud-connected embedded systems and modern DevOps pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical architecture and automotive communication protocols.
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Strong understanding of MATLAB/Simulink for hardware in the loop testing.
- Expertise in complex problem solving and data analysis.
- Knowledge of automotive design and development processes.
