Responsibilities
- Design and deliver mid-to-large-scale UI features and contribute to larger digital initiatives.
- Build clean, reusable, performant, and accessible applications using Angular, React, Node.js, and modern web technologies.
- Influence frontend architecture, component design, state management, and enterprise coding and implementation standards.
- Troubleshoot frontend and Node.js BFF defects, rendering issues, memory leaks, API latency, build dependencies, and environmental configurations.
- Lead or participate in technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with UX teams, vendors, and internal engineering stakeholders on design systems, third-party components, and delivery roadmaps.
- Execute test plans and uphold software quality standards across the SDLC.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge through engineering forums, technical documentation, and presentations.
- Assess technical risk, apply secure coding practices, and implement authentication and authorization flows.
- Improve test automation, deployment pipelines, and development processes.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience in product development or software engineering.
- Proficiency in Angular, RxJS, NgRx or state management, React, Hooks, Context API, Redux or Zustand, and Node.js.
- Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, asynchronous messaging, frontend-backend integration, and data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with Jest, Jasmine, React Testing Library, and Cypress for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Familiarity with Webpack, Vite, Rollup, npm, yarn, pnpm, Jenkins, Tekton, Harness, and Git.
- Experience with secure coding, OWASP Top 10, XSS, CSRF, SQL injection prevention, OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT.
- Bachelor’s or university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with micro-frontends, Nx, Lerna, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, WCAG 2.1 AA, semantic HTML, and AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, Agile/Scrum delivery, communication, and organizational change experience.
