Responsibilities
- Embed with enterprise customer engineering teams to implement the Vendasta platform and help customers realize value.
- Identify customer gaps, friction points, and new opportunities through hands-on discovery.
- Translate customer insights into actionable input for R&D product roadmaps and sprint planning.
- Solve unfamiliar technical problems using the customer’s existing stack and tools.
- Navigate challenging customer conversations and maintain strong working relationships through regular on-site travel.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or forward deployed engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Advanced full-stack development and strong system design capabilities.
- Strong live problem-solving ability, clear communication, and customer-facing professionalism.
- Prior on-site or embedded customer implementation experience.
- Background in consulting, solutions architecture, or independent contracting involving customer-facing discretion and autonomy.
- Sales or pre-sales exposure.
