Base Salary
$184k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Establish global network engineering best practices and design scalable network solutions.
- Build and maintain automation and tools for product introductions, network deployment, release engineering, and operations.
- Design and develop solutions across varied network hardware platforms.
- Enhance continuous integration, validation, testing, release, and configuration-management automation.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and sourcing teams on networking solutions and infrastructure.
- Investigate complex technical issues involving automated tooling, hardware failures, and network operations.
- Implement scalable automated workflows that improve operational efficiency.
- Identify cross-team roadblocks, develop execution plans, and drive projects to completion.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and apply production lessons to future network products.
- Support team growth through peer mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of relevant experience developing scalable and reliable systems and/or networks.
- Experience coding in higher-level languages such as Python, C++, Go, or Rust.
- Experience learning and using software, frameworks, and APIs.
- Experience configuring and maintaining network devices and NMS systems or comparable infrastructure applications.
- Experience developing and understanding network-device configurations for at least one vendor such as Juniper, Cisco, Arista, or Brocade.
- Preferred: 2+ years of networking experience in an operational role.
- Preferred: experience using AI tools, responsible AI practices, prompt/context engineering, or agent orchestration.

- Base salary of $184,000/year to $257,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
