Base Salary
$156k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product management, design, and engineering to develop product features that drive business metrics.
- Write, test, review, and ship high-quality maintainable code.
- Improve and scale application architecture and application design.
- Develop tools and utilities to diagnose and resolve problems.
- Create proper technical designs and documentation.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to designers, support staff, and engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience shipping high-scale code to production.
- Experience with AI-enabled development and tooling.
- Fluency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, Ruby, Go, or C.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, database concepts, distributed systems, and search.
- Interest in search, streaming, database, or other backend technologies.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent, is a bonus qualification.
