Base Salary

$156k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product management, design, and engineering to develop product features that drive business metrics.
  • Write, test, review, and ship high-quality maintainable backend code.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and scale architecture and application design.
  • Develop tools and utilities to diagnose and fix problems.
  • Create proper technical designs and documentation.
  • Work effectively in a rapidly changing and growing environment.

Requirements

  • Typically at least five years of experience shipping high-scale code to production.
  • Experience with AI-enabled development and tooling.
  • Fluency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, Ruby, Go, or C.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, database concepts, distributed systems, and search.
  • Interest or experience in backend technologies such as search, streaming, or databases.
  • A strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to designers, support teams, and engineers.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field is a bonus qualification.
