Responsibilities
- Scope, plan, and lead delivery of large-scale features and roadmap initiatives.
- Clarify and refine requirements across stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
- Navigate ambiguous requirements and competing interests to deliver user-friendly features.
- Contribute to long-term architectural planning and system design.
- Lead technical problem-solving for complex, cross-team challenges.
- Continuously improve the codebase through high standards for code reviews and testing.
- Ensure scalable and maintainable solutions across frontend and backend systems.
- Act as the go-to expert for debugging and system reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to align on priorities.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers through coaching and feedback.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and promote Agile best practices.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of progressive software engineering experience with leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of modern software development practices and architectures.
- Strong track record of scoping and delivering large-scale features.
- Experience with both frontend and backend technologies.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts.
- Strategic problem-solving ability with adaptability in fast-changing environments.
- A passion for mentoring and fostering a culture of excellence.
