Base Salary
$122k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and support of scalable data integration and engineering solutions.
- Create and maintain technical designs and documentation aligned with business requirements, data architecture, and enterprise standards.
- Build and optimize enterprise data platforms using Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and Azure cloud services.
- Develop and maintain ELT/ETL frameworks, data models, and governance capabilities covering data quality, lineage, observability, security, and compliance.
- Support AI, machine learning, Generative AI, and RAG solutions through data engineering, feature engineering, and MLOps/DataOps practices.
- Drive operational excellence through monitoring, optimization, troubleshooting, automation, and ongoing platform support.
- Collaborate with Product Management, technology leadership, business stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to deliver aligned data solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers, guide architectural decisions, conduct architecture reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience delivering enterprise data integration, data engineering services, and data platform solutions.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable data pipelines, Lakehouse architectures, and data products.
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and Azure cloud services.
- Experience with data modeling, ELT/ETL frameworks, data governance, data quality, lineage, observability, security, and compliance.
- Experience supporting analytics, reporting, AI, machine learning, Generative AI, and RAG initiatives.
- Knowledge of modern engineering standards including testing, monitoring, automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, communicate technical solutions, and align stakeholders.
