Responsibilities
- Influence the technical direction of critical backend systems.
- Scale job processing and code execution systems for high throughput and availability.
- Build job prioritization controls and ensure balanced, fair execution across multitenant systems.
- Develop features that allow customers to execute code within the product.
- Write, review, and own high-quality code through production and beyond.
- Identify improvements to the codebase, engineering processes, and developer productivity.
Requirements
- Typically 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven track record of success as a software engineer.
- Foundational systems knowledge or experience in areas such as Linux systems, container runtimes, code execution platforms, filesystems, storage, Rust, Go, and production debugging.
- Ability and willingness to work broadly across the stack, including infrastructure and frontend work when needed.
- Strong ownership, collaboration, and commitment to building reliable, well-tested software.
