Responsibilities
- Own and publish the reference architecture for Anaplan's internal AI.
- Architect end-to-end internal enterprise AI solutions.
- Set and enforce AI engineering standards and coding practices.
- Lead technical design reviews and guide implementation decisions.
- Evaluate and onboard new enterprise AI platforms and tools.
- Design the LLM abstraction layer and multi-model strategy.
- Manage technical debt and system observability for AI systems.
- Define and maintain technical evaluation criteria for AI projects.
- Ensure all internal AI initiatives pass necessary reviews.
- Translate approved use cases into technical specifications.
- Define enterprise AI data layer and integration architecture.
- Integrate with ServiceNow AI Control Tower for tracking.
- Implement frameworks for explainability and auditability.
- Partner with Finance to define and measure AI-driven ROI.
- Establish lifecycle management for AI agents.
- Oversee technical deployment and operationalization of AI solutions.
- Drive adoption of AI tools and lead training sessions.
- Build engineering dashboards for tracking performance and ROI.
- Research and prototype emerging AI techniques.
- Design and lead proof-of-concept pilots for internal use cases.
- Build and maintain an AI innovation pipeline.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software or AI/ML engineering experience.
- At least 3 years in a technical lead or principal-level role.
- Deep expertise across the AI/ML stack, including LLMs and MLOps.
- Proven experience architecting and deploying enterprise-scale AI systems.
- Proficiency in Python and enterprise cloud AI platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace AI and Gemini Enterprise.
- Ability to provide technical leadership without formal authority.
- Strong business acumen and communication skills.
- Experience in enterprise SaaS environments with complex requirements.
