Base Salary
$180k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end feature development across the full technology stack.
- Own the design, development, testing, and maintenance of robust APIs and web applications.
- Contribute to the long-term technical roadmap with architectural feedback.
- Mentor junior engineers and enhance the team's technical excellence.
- Make data-driven decisions and practice creative problem solving.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Improve infrastructure components including orchestration pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
- Integrate emerging tools to automate developer workflows.
- Participate in application deployments and on-call production support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement product features.
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations for medical software.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of experience, or MS/PhD with 3 years, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Strong development experience with Python.
- Experience with cloud development, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with modern web frameworks, preferably Django and Vue.js.
- Deep understanding of backend and frontend security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex issues.
- Solid grasp of modern software development methodologies including CI/CD and Agile.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
