Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications within the ServiceNow platform.
- Analyze existing systems, identify problems and data availability, and define reporting requirements and system designs.
- Assist with the design, configuration, and development of custom applications and software modules.
- Use Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub scripting and development practices.
- Design and develop REST/SOAP integrations using JSON/XML and IntegrationHub/MID Server where applicable.
- Work collaboratively within the ServiceNow team to improve the platform.
- Apply software development lifecycle and Agile practices while providing software design, development, and quality oversight.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least three years of web and software development experience.
- Knowledge of software design, software engineering principles, systems development, and secured web design and development.
- Knowledge of .NET, C#, Java, J2E, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SharePoint, System Center Operations Manager, virtualization technologies, and Team Foundation Server.
- Ability to discuss requirements modeling, development, and system-level requirements with non-technical personnel.
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator certification is identified as a qualification of top candidates.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, healthcare industry experience, systems integration experience, and BizTalk experience.
- Systems and network administration experience is a valuable plus.
