Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate existing systems, identify issues, assess data availability, and define system requirements and designs.
- Develop plans for IT systems from project inception through conclusion.
- Define problems, information-processing requirements, program specifications, flowcharts, programs, and tests.
- Design and develop software modules and user interfaces.
- Provide software design, development, and quality oversight for complex software systems.
- Work in an integrated team with engineers and other personnel.
- Discuss requirements modeling, development, and system-level requirements with non-technical personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least three years of web and software development experience.
- Excellent knowledge of systems and software design and software engineering principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of .NET, C#, Java, J2E, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SharePoint, System Center Operations Manager, virtualization technologies, and Team Foundation Server.
- Expertise in secure web design and development.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle process.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Background in systems and network administration is a plus.
- Preferred master's degree.
- Preferred experience in the healthcare industry and systems integrations.
- Experience with BizTalk is a valuable plus.
