Responsibilities
- Triage incoming bug reports from Apple employees and external developers.
- Analyze logs and prioritize issues for key watchOS components.
- Use large language models and generative AI tools to identify important bug reports efficiently.
- Identify root causes and regression points to accelerate bug fixes.
- Drive daily bug-management and source-code-management processes.
- Support high-quality intelligent experiences and improvements for customers and developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with consumer-facing software development processes and Apple operating systems, especially watchOS and iOS.
- Expertise with bug tracking systems and experience with source control, preferably Git.
- Experience with automated build, continuous integration, and test automation systems.
- Familiarity with large language models and generative AI tools, including skills, agents, and Model Context Protocol.
- Practical experience with command-line tools, UNIX, Linux, or Terminal.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, zsh, or bash.
- Preferred experience with Xcode, Instruments, Objective-C, Swift, SwiftUI, software debugging, data analytics, and large datasets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
