Base Salary
$136k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build highly scalable microservice APIs for on-premises and cloud environments.
- Use Azure Kubernetes Service to elastically scale systems based on traffic patterns.
- Provide technical mentorship to software engineers.
- Evaluate industry trends and implement improved patterns and technologies.
- Perform peer code reviews and suggest improvements to the codebase.
- Maintain more than 90% test coverage.
- Read, maintain, and improve legacy systems.
- Champion DevOps culture and verify that software meets requirements.
- Create documentation and use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related technical field.
- Four years of experience in systems analysis or development, including four years of software engineering experience.
- Four years of backend development experience with Microsoft technology stacks.
- Four years of experience integrating with REST APIs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, Azure, GitHub, GitHub Actions, JIRA, test automation, and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles.
- References are required; knowledge may be demonstrated through coursework, training, or experience.
