Base Salary

$220k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of core platforms and services spanning intelligent networking, agentic AI, distributed data processing, real-time analytics, and intelligent automation.
  • Architect and build scalable, secure, reliable, observable, adaptable, and safe enterprise systems.
  • Develop systems that process large volumes of real-time network and operational data and produce actionable insights or automated outcomes.
  • Design and implement high-performance, event-driven distributed systems and cloud-native services.
  • Build generative AI and agentic capabilities supporting tool use, planning, memory, retrieval, orchestration, evaluation, and production deployment.
  • Contribute across architecture, design, coding, code reviews, testing, build processes, deployment, and production operations.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership for complex initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience across the complete software development lifecycle.
  • At least 8 years of programming experience in a general-purpose language, preferably Python, Java, Go, or C++.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading the design and architecture of large-scale distributed systems on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with real-time microservices, stream processing, distributed data platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI or agentic systems, network telemetry, or large-scale analytics.
  • Experience designing systems that process high-volume, high-velocity data with stringent scalability, availability, latency, and operational reliability requirements.
  • Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
  • Ability to solve complex, ambiguous technical problems and deliver pragmatic, production-ready solutions.
  • Master’s or PhD in a related technical discipline is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred experience includes generative AI or agentic systems, networking, network management, observability, telemetry, cloud infrastructure, distributed control-plane systems, and large-scale real-world datasets.
  • Preferred experience with Kafka, Spark, Flink, PySpark, MapReduce, or comparable distributed data and processing technologies.
