Responsibilities
- Deliver technical solutions with speed and quality, both independently and by supporting the team.
- Act as a technical reference for the assigned team and selected engineering topics.
- Review code and improve software development practices.
- Expand the technical knowledge available within Geekie engineering.
- Share responsibility for maintaining services and ensuring their availability to users.
- Manage broad-scope technical projects and collaborate across engineering, product, and other teams.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in software development, preferably with digital products.
- Solid knowledge of computing and software development best practices, with deep expertise in some of the technologies used by the company.
- Knowledge of systems architecture.
- Ability to manage broad-scope technical projects.
- Knowledge of agile product-development methodologies.
- Good communication within the team and across engineering, product, and other teams.
- Experience with technical project management is desirable.
- Experience with React or React Native is desirable.
