Base Salary

$138k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and agentic workflows using Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and related technologies.
  • Implement microservices architecture with Spring Cloud for service discovery, configuration, and resilience.
  • Containerize and deploy applications on AWS using ECS, EKS, Lambda, and EC2.
  • Implement and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Apply reactive programming, 12-factor application principles, and cloud-native development practices.
  • Design and execute performance and load tests using JMeter or BlazeMeter.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementation meets design constraints.
  • Use and evaluate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Gather, analyze, synthesize, and visualize large and diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Backend experience with Java 21, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
  • Front-end experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Experience implementing microservices architecture with Spring Cloud.
  • Experience maintaining AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, including Lambda, S3, and Kafka.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Preferred experience with Agent2UI, the A2A protocol, multi-agent troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution, and Python.
