Responsibilities
- Partner with product owners to lead, facilitate, coordinate, and govern requirements analysis and software design activities.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to create accurate design documentation for in-scope components.
- Identify and prioritize component design deficiencies and lead actionable remediation plans.
- Record inconsistencies in design patterns, best practices, technologies, and tools and coordinate prioritized remediation.
- Provide design decisions and guidance to unblock development teams.
- Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to team members while monitoring architectural compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with broad and deep expertise across professional software engineering in multiple technical and commercial environments.
- Advanced working experience with data structures, algorithms, software design, design patterns, architecture patterns, and quality attributes.
- Advanced software modeling skills across information domain, process, state, security, logical, and physical architectural views.
- Advanced knowledge of modern software development lifecycle processes from product conception through deployment.
- Direct development experience across two or more technology stacks.
- Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, persuasion, influence, and consensus-building skills.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and providing constructive technical feedback is preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills are preferred.
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations to varied audiences is preferred.
- Experience working effectively with external partners and customers is preferred.
- Ability to translate business goals and functional requirements into innovative design solutions is preferred.
