Base Salary
$240k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical win for supported security deals through discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements.
- Act as the security architecture subject-matter expert for ransomware recovery, immutable and air-gapped vaulting, identity resilience, and DSPM.
- Architect reference architectures and lead technical workshops, POCs, and pilots for regulated-industry use cases.
- Create executive-quality solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and account-specific business cases.
- Understand customer technology footprints and collaborate with security partners on joint solutions and technical co-selling.
- Provide field feedback for the roadmap and maintain accurate technical qualification, POC exit criteria, and forecast reliability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of pre-sales engineering and security architecture experience.
- Hands-on experience designing or deploying ransomware-recovery architectures, immutable or air-gapped backup solutions, or identity-resilience systems.
- Strong infrastructure background in backup and recovery, storage, and hybrid cloud.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory or Entra ID architecture and security concepts including ransomware kill chains, immutability, air-gapping, and zero trust.
- Scripting and API proficiency with Python or PowerShell for demonstrations and POCs.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and executive audiences and work in a co-sell or specialist model.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity, workflows, and decision-making.
- Professional English proficiency and ability to travel as required.
- Preferred experience includes specialist or overlay SE/SA work at a data infrastructure, backup, or cybersecurity vendor and technical relationships in backup, cyber resilience, or data security markets.
