Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized software solutions.
- Deliver full-stack applications using backend, frontend, database, integration, messaging, cloud, and DevOps technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, stakeholders, and related teams to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, technology communities, and continuous improvement activities.
- Implement secure coding, unit testing, integration testing, and quality practices.
- Support the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects according to plan, budget, quality, and governance standards.
- Manage risk, strengthen controls, follow applicable policies and regulations, and support production applications.
- Guide team members, communicate complex information, and coordinate resources where leadership responsibilities apply.
Requirements
- In-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned software development area.
- Experience with Core Java, Java 11 or Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate or JPA, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Angular or React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap or Material Design.
- Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQL query optimization, and database design.
- Experience with Kafka, IBM MQ, JMS, and REST or SOA integration.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, Jenkins, GitHub or GitLab, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and SonarQube.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and Selenium testing frameworks.
- Cloud technology experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is valued.
- Exposure to event-driven architecture and experience in banking or financial services are valued.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and API security is valued.
- Understanding of Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or ELK is valued.
- Experience supporting applications in production environments is valued.
- Ability to analyze information, solve problems, influence decisions, communicate complex information, and collaborate across functions.
