Responsibilities
- Own the full software development lifecycle from ideation and architectural design through release and maintenance.
- Design and deliver complex, performant, secure, scalable frontend and backend-integrated features for digital banking products.
- Improve system architecture and design components that integrate across APIs and microservices.
- Contribute to LLM-based voice assistants and real-time personalization engines using OpenAI and ML models.
- Implement entitlement and fraud-prevention services with strong security, scalability, and resilience characteristics.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and serve as a technical resource for the squad.
- Identify tooling gaps, reduce technical debt, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, UX designers, and non-technical stakeholders in a pod-based model.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of professional experience building complex, high-traffic products.
- Strong Angular and TypeScript skills, with proficiency in RxJS and modern build systems.
- Experience with Webpack and Jenkins.
- Prior exposure to Java, Spring JPA/Hibernate, Maven, microservices, Netflix OSS, and cloud technologies is welcomed.
- Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and complex data flows between services.
- Excellent spoken and written English and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fintech or banking experience is considered an advantage.
- Residence in or near Kraków and willingness to work from the office twice per week.
