Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software for customer needs.
- Build and evolve backend services and frontend UX/UI for the web-based football analytics platform.
- Own features and technical solutions from design and architecture through implementation, deployment, and ongoing operation.
- Participate in engineering processes, design meetings, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Define test cases, author unit tests, and improve test automation and code quality.
- Collaborate with Product and engineering teams to translate requirements into reliable, high-quality software.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, building, and operating production-grade applications and services.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong experience with a modern JavaScript or TypeScript framework such as Angular or React.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including data modeling, query design, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of API design, distributed systems, and client-server architectures.
- Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and release automation.
- Ability to own features and technical solutions from architecture and implementation through production and ongoing operation.
- Experience with Kotlin is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Capacitor, Electron, RxDB, or offline-capable application development is preferred.
