Responsibilities
- Own and drive the end-to-end system test strategy.
- Build scalable automation and regression frameworks.
- Improve test coverage across complex distributed workflows.
- Lead performance, reliability, scalability, concurrency, and failover testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to embed quality early through shift-left practices.
- Drive root-cause analysis and continuous quality improvements.
- Mentor SDET teams and advance automation and testing practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience in system testing and automation using Python, Ruby, or Perl.
- Expertise in distributed systems, APIs, networking, Linux, AWS, and NoSQL.
- Experience with scalable test frameworks, CI/CD, and Agile development environments.
- Hands-on experience with performance, concurrency, and reliability testing.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and drive quality initiatives.
- 12–15 years of experience in software testing or quality engineering.
- BE or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with large-scale storage or distributed platforms, chaos testing, workload modeling, or AI-driven testing is preferred.
