Responsibilities
- Own features through design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- Design, develop, and operate cloud-native services using containers, microservices, distributed systems principles, and CI/CD practices.
- Build automated validation, participate in code and design reviews, and drive operational readiness and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement reliability, scalability, and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with product management, architects, engineering teams, and partners to deliver solutions spanning storage, networking, cloud infrastructure, security, observability, and customer-facing experiences.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, technical knowledge sharing, mentorship, and team growth.
- Communicate technical concepts, design tradeoffs, and project status to organizational stakeholders.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience.
- Strong production software development experience in Go, including scalable, secure, production-quality backend services.
- Experience with Python for test automation, validation frameworks, tooling, CI/CD integration, or operational automation.
- Familiarity with React, TypeScript, and C# is desirable.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and service-to-service integrations.
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating microservices-based applications using Kubernetes and containers.
- Experience with automated testing, performance optimization, security best practices, observability, monitoring, telemetry, and operational excellence.
- Experience building and operating cloud-native distributed systems in Azure.
- Experience in cloud storage services, distributed systems, file systems, databases, data protection, or infrastructure services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong learning ability, written and verbal communication skills, and analytical problem-solving ability.
