Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications with OCI product leaders and service teams.
  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and operate scalable customer-facing cloud services.
  • Automate common tasks to support continuous delivery and availability with minimal manual effort.
  • Develop performant, scalable solutions and maintain development and production infrastructure.
  • Analyze platform usage, performance, error budgets, resilience, and capacity needs.
  • Provide technical guidance, feedback, mentoring, and coaching to team members and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps, technical specifications, adoption guidance, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software industry experience in architecture, system and software design, development, and delivery of highly scalable products and services.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education.
  • Strong backend development experience with Java or a similar modern programming language.
  • Strong experience with microservice-based architecture, distributed systems, SQL and NoSQL databases, REST APIs, and cloud technologies.
  • Understanding of the full product development lifecycle, including specifications, product-impacting decisions, code development and review, releases, operations, and DevOps.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, JIRA, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of large-scale distributed cloud services and Linux fundamentals.
  • Ability to identify innovation opportunities, manage technical debt, support continuous improvement, and maintain a strong security posture.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and learning skills.
  • Previous experience with system monitoring, automation, and incident management tools is preferred.
