Base Salary
$144k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the technical direction of machine-learning offerings across the Sponsored Products organization.
- Design, code, troubleshoot, and support scalable machine-learning pipelines and online serving systems.
- Collaborate with applied scientists to optimize machine-learning model performance and infrastructure.
- Implement and own end-to-end software solutions for advertising and shopping experiences.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 3 years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Knowledge of machine-learning model architecture and inference.
- Preferred: knowledge of machine-learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques.
- Preferred: knowledge of JAX, PyTorch, vLLM, SGLang, Dynamo, TorchXLA, and TensorRT.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience building large-scale machine-learning infrastructure for online recommendation, ads ranking, personalization, or search.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
