Responsibilities
- Lead systems software solutions for new data center server platforms, including OS and Linux kernel adaptation.
- Improve system reliability, availability, stability, performance, and infrastructure resource efficiency.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration for OS and kernel projects across business units and external stakeholders.
- Lead innovation initiatives, strategy development, long-term planning, and execution for OS and Linux kernel challenges.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to UK-based team members and global project peers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in server systems software, computer system architecture, operating systems, GPU computing systems, networking, system troubleshooting, or application performance analysis and optimization.
- At least 2 years of experience providing technical direction or team leadership, including guiding new hires and delivering complex projects.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical leadership skills.
- Preferred experience with NVIDIA, AMD, or TPU systems software stacks, especially drivers and related implementations.
- Preferred experience with CUDA or CUDA-like software implementations.
- Preferred experience with NCCL or NCCL-like software implementations.
