Responsibilities
- Work on next-generation Pixel security designs and projects.
- Harden embedded system software components critical to Pixel security.
- Develop embedded security software features for current and future Pixel devices.
- Improve infrastructure for testing and Continuous Integration.
- Develop technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- Three years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- Experience with embedded software and firmware design, device driver development, and RTOS or embedded OS environments.
- Experience with low-level systems programming languages such as C++ or C.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: one year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience with embedded security design and development, application security, cryptography, systems security, malware analysis, and open source development.
