Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver clean responsive user interfaces for internal alerting and notification applications.
Develop and maintain intuitive HTTP APIs and web backends, preferably using Python.
Improve CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability to keep production services reliable.
Build developer tools that streamline development workflows, including tooling for agentic coding systems.
Document systems so they are easy to understand, adopt, and maintain.
Drive engineering standards through code reviews, well-tested implementations, debugging, and maintainable architecture.
Collaborate with researchers, portfolio managers, and teams across the firm.

Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with React.js, Material-UI, and modern build tools such as Vite.
Experience developing and maintaining web backends and HTTP APIs, preferably in Python.
Familiarity with Go, PHP, Ruby, Perl, or other server-side languages is welcome.
Working experience with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL and SQLite.
Comfort working in Unix/Linux environments and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker containerized applications.
Kubernetes or distributed systems experience is a plus.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, and technical communication skills.
