Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain foundational platform software, internal tools, APIs, and developer services.
- Design and manage Infrastructure as Code using reusable Terraform modules, testing strategies, and lifecycle practices.
- Deploy, configure, upgrade, monitor, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on GKE and EKS.
- Build and maintain internal CI/CD delivery systems using tools such as Argo CD and Atlantis.
- Diagnose and resolve platform performance, scalability, reliability, and security issues using logs and metrics.
- Drive automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and operational workflows.
- Partner with feature teams to understand infrastructure and developer experience needs and translate them into platform capabilities.
- Implement cloud security, access control, vulnerability management, encryption, compliance practices, security audits, and penetration testing.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps engineering, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, GKE, EKS, and Terraform.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and coding proficiency in Go, TypeScript, or other relevant languages.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable, reliable, secure cloud infrastructure with an emphasis on automation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD, Atlantis, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Extensive experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and prior experience with platform engineering projects.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
