Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Micronaut.
- Implement and optimize microservices and distributed-system communication using Kafka.
- Deploy and manage containerized services with Docker and AWS ECS.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and efficient development and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services for reliability and production performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, documented code and participate in code reviews and unit testing.
- Own technical challenges, propose solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or comparable professional experience.
- At least 3 years of backend development experience using Java and microservices frameworks such as Spring Boot or Micronaut.
- Proficiency with relational databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL, and non-relational databases including Redis.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms, especially AWS ECS.
- Familiarity with Kafka or similar distributed messaging systems.
- Experience with agile development practices such as Scrum or Kanban; SAFe experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of clean, maintainable code and unit testing.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- SAP Hybris knowledge is desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.
