Base Salary
$105k - $178k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, refactor, test, and maintain applications, services, APIs, and frameworks.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and technical solution reviews.
- Use AI-assisted development practices and coding agents to improve delivery speed, code quality, testing, documentation, and productivity.
- Review code for maintainability, performance, security, and adherence to engineering standards.
- Build tools, automation, and processes that improve software delivery, release readiness, and developer productivity.
- Mentor developers through technical guidance, documentation, training, and knowledge sharing.
- Improve coding standards, reusable design patterns, team workflows, and engineering practices while estimating work, identifying risks, and delivering solutions on schedule.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering and modern application development, including enterprise software solutions.
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud technologies, AI-assisted development, or related technical domains.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong expertise in one or more technologies such as Python, C#, Node.js, or similar modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Experience with software design, automated testing, CI/CD practices, code reviews, secure coding principles, and Agile software delivery methodologies.
- Ability to use AI coding tools and coding agents for development, code reviews, testing, documentation, and productivity improvements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills, with the ability to learn new technologies and business domains.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred qualifications include experience driving engineering standards and reusable development patterns across teams, mentoring developers, building development-efficiency automation, and advancing operational excellence.
