Base Salary

$133k - $157k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
  • Write production-ready, testable full-stack code and take ownership of product delivery.
  • Create scalable, reliable, performant technical designs that follow architectural best practices.
  • Build and optimize databases, queries, applications, and HTTP services.
  • Analyze failures, propose design changes, and drive operational improvements.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering best practices and development procedures.
  • Ensure product development follows compliance, security, and software reliability standards.
  • Prioritize and size work for incremental delivery while communicating blockers and delays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Six to eight years of relevant experience.
  • At least five years of software development experience.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases and database query optimization.
  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Ability to build complex applications using Ember.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and HTTP services using NodeJS and TypeScript.
  • Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Experience with Git version control and git-flow development.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and independently drive projects and decisions.
  • Ability to communicate in English on a day-to-day basis.
