Base Salary
$133k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Write production-ready, testable full-stack code and take ownership of product delivery.
- Create scalable, reliable, performant technical designs that follow architectural best practices.
- Build and optimize databases, queries, applications, and HTTP services.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and drive operational improvements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering best practices and development procedures.
- Ensure product development follows compliance, security, and software reliability standards.
- Prioritize and size work for incremental delivery while communicating blockers and delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Six to eight years of relevant experience.
- At least five years of software development experience.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases and database query optimization.
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Ability to build complex applications using Ember.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and HTTP services using NodeJS and TypeScript.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Experience with Git version control and git-flow development.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and independently drive projects and decisions.
- Ability to communicate in English on a day-to-day basis.
