Base Salary
$190k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, ship, and maintain customer-facing APIs that expose new model capabilities.
- Scale inference infrastructure to support more than 1 million API users.
- Productionize research prototypes into reliable, low-latency systems suitable for production traffic.
- Partner with researchers, applied engineers, customers, and product teams to guide product and research direction.
- Contribute to backend services, inference infrastructure, SDKs, and internal tooling.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience building and supporting production machine learning infrastructure and/or customer-facing APIs.
- Curiosity about AI and machine learning sufficient to make informed engineering decisions around models.
- Ability to operate effectively amid ambiguous and changing research and product timelines.
- Strong collaboration skills with researchers, applied engineers, customers, and other stakeholders.
