Base Salary
$117k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Gather and document technical requirements and select development approaches for changing or uncertain needs.
- Develop cloud-based frontend and backend applications, APIs, websites, and distributed components aligned with user needs.
- Work with architects on technical designs, feasibility studies, implementation estimates, and project timelines.
- Run tests, apply development and deployment best practices, and deliver high-quality software.
- Interface with product managers, technical support, and customers for integration, onboarding, sustaining support, and feedback.
- Diagnose and resolve bugs with product assurance and identify opportunities to improve quality management and business processes.
- Participate in an application on-call rotation and contribute to a multidisciplinary Agile development team.
Requirements
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 5–8 years of related experience, a master’s degree and 2–5 years of equivalent industry experience, or a PhD and 0–2 years of experience.
- Rich experience developing full-stack applications, preferably in a cloud environment.
- Knowledge of modern authentication and single sign-on frameworks such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID, and SAML.
- Strong programming skills in Kotlin, Java, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Scala, or similar languages.
- Experience building frontend and backend applications using modern frameworks, distributed systems, and message brokers.
- Experience with NoSQL or relational databases, including Cassandra, MongoDB, DynamoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with cloud-based container components and CI/CD pipelines, plus exposure to GitHub Actions, Helm, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment, manage time, meet schedules, and participate in Agile software development.
