Responsibilities
- Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities in coordination with technology and management teams.
- Design and implement application enhancements, new products, and process improvements.
- Analyze complex business and system processes and develop innovative solutions to high-impact problems.
- Ensure application designs follow the overall architecture blueprint and establish coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
- Manage and implement successful projects while assessing risks and maintaining compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advise or coach mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as needed.
Requirements
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis.
- Extensive experience with systems analysis and software application programming.
- Advanced programming expertise and subject matter expertise in at least one applications development area.
- Strong Java 8 or higher experience and excellent knowledge of MongoDB and Java microservices.
- Experience with cloud technology, Docker, OpenShift, containerization, Kafka, MQ middleware, Spring, or Spring Boot.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, prioritization, communication, and junior-developer guidance skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, UI technologies, Flink streaming, and caching is desirable.
