Responsibilities
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across backend infrastructure and third-party integrations.
- Write scripts to validate integrations and perform preventative maintenance.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions that improve platform reliability and performance.
- Respond to customer queries and collaborate with engineering, product, and client teams.
- Operate and improve distributed systems in a fast-paced cloud-native environment.
Requirements
- Solid experience operating distributed systems at scale.
- Strong communication skills for cross-team and client collaboration.
- Working knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Infrastructure experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, DNS, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Programming experience with an object-oriented language, preferably Java.
- Analytical, quality-focused, self-driven, and comfortable solving problems independently and working through ambiguity.
- Experience balancing speed and stability in fast-paced environments.
