Responsibilities
- Analyze the performance of different solutions and select the best option for each use case.
- Monitor deployed computer vision systems and perform preventative maintenance to minimize store downtime.
- Analyze data from deployed solutions to generate insights and reports for stakeholders.
- Evaluate third-party tools for solution monitoring and dashboarding.
- Investigate and remedy incidents that cause solution downtime.
- Contribute to research projects, rapid experiments, proofs of concept, and productionized solutions.
Requirements
- Work experience in a relevant field such as computer science, software engineering, or technical support.
- Understanding of container build, deployment, and runtime technologies such as Docker or Podman.
- Comfort working with headless Linux, particularly Red Hat.
- Demonstrated Python coding experience and experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, and GitOps.
- Experience with Ansible tools.
- Highly desirable experience with K3s and AKS.
- Experience with Azure Cloud, especially Azure Monitor.
- Experience using Kusto Query Language to build Azure dashboards and alerts.
- Some experience with metric monitoring tools for data streams.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Some exposure to cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
