Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Manage Kubernetes environments, containerized workloads, Docker images, registries, and Amazon ECR.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure across Linux, networking, security, observability, .NET, and Java environments.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, ALB/NLB, Route 53, ACM, S3, RDS/Aurora, and CloudWatch.
- Strong Kubernetes knowledge covering Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, HPA, Jobs/CronJobs, RBAC, and troubleshooting.
- Experience creating and optimizing Docker images and working with container registries and Amazon ECR.
- Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, including Bash, systemd, networking, processes, permissions, and filesystems.
- Solid networking and security knowledge, including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, proxies, load balancers, routing, NAT, IAM, and least-privilege principles.
- Experience with observability practices covering logs, metrics, traces, and alerts using CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- B2+ English proficiency and scripting experience with Bash and Python.
- Preferred: experience with Terragrunt, CloudFormation, and/or AWS CDK.
- Preferred: understanding of .NET build and deployment processes, including NuGet, configuration, migrations, runtime/SDK management, and deployment troubleshooting.
- Preferred: knowledge of Java environments, including Maven/Gradle, JDK/JRE, Spring Boot, JVM fundamentals, and troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience with Git branching strategies, pull requests, tags/releases, and conflict resolution.
- Preferred: PowerShell scripting experience.
