Responsibilities
- Define and lead software testing strategies, plans, test cases, and quality outcomes at the program or portfolio level.
- Lead testing for complex features spanning multiple teams and ensure adherence to enterprise automation coverage requirements.
- Drive functional, system, integration, regression, load, performance, and latency testing.
- Assess and improve performance testing packs and migrate regression testing to the strategic enterprise automation framework.
- Analyze production stability, logs, testing metrics, and observability opportunities, and coordinate improvements with development and stakeholder teams.
- Provide functional expertise in FX electronic trading applications and respond to business-user functionality queries.
- Mentor, coach, and cross-train testing resources.
- Lead risk assessment, defect triage, root-cause analysis, escalation, and mitigation planning.
- Oversee enterprise AI-assisted testing tools and prompt-engineering practices across requirements capture, test planning, test-case creation, and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 12+ years of experience in software testing or business analysis for FX front-office electronic trading applications.
- At least five years of lead experience.
- Deep expertise in FX products including FX Spot, FX Forward, FX Swap, and NDF.
- Strong understanding of FX market data, venues, algorithms, electronic trading components, and market-making and agency-based workflows.
- Understanding of distributed-system components including messaging, caching, multicast, and component integrations.
- Experience with functional, regression, load, performance, and latency testing.
- Strong observability skills and experience interpreting production and QA logs.
- Strong UNIX command-line usage and experience testing FX flows on multi-dealer platforms such as FXall.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and methodologies and business-driven test-case development.
- Basic understanding of C++ or Java.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools, prompt engineering, and CI/CD flows and tools.
- Any certification related to Agile and functional testing is applicable.
