Responsibilities
- Lead client discussions and define cloud architecture and engineering solutions across public, private, and hybrid environments.
- Own client roadmaps for agentic AI workflows, including orchestration, state management, autonomy, tool use, and governance.
- Design secure, highly available, fault-tolerant enterprise applications using zero-trust identity and access management principles.
- Translate business objectives into technical requirements, target operating models, and modernization roadmaps.
- Advise on performance, cost efficiency, FinOps, sustainability, resilience, observability, SRE, and AIOps.
- Identify and address system consumption, scalability, and operational challenges.
- Lead and mentor architects and engineers through technical coaching, career counseling, and performance management.
Requirements
- Strong software architecture expertise with the ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes such as total cost of ownership and speed to market.
- Proven experience with one or more of AWS, Azure, GCP, or IBM cloud platforms, including PaaS, API gateways, IaaS, network design, connectivity, IAM, compute, storage, backup, high availability, disaster recovery, containers, orchestration, and iPaaS.
- Experience conceptualizing multi-agent orchestration, tool-use patterns, and governance frameworks for safely deploying autonomous agents.
- Deep expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design.
- Experience designing hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, including integration of legacy systems with cloud environments.
- Understanding of non-functional requirements and their application to critical infrastructure architecture.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and manage senior client relationships.
- Experience working closely with engineering and development teams to set realistic delivery expectations is preferred.
- Personal or open-source repositories, prototypes, accelerators, or reference architectures demonstrating architecture diagrams, ADRs, and code samples are advantageous.
