Responsibilities
- Partner with Enterprise Account Executives on complex technical sales engagements.
- Conduct technical discovery and design solutions aligned with customer architectures, security challenges, compliance requirements, and modernization initiatives.
- Build customized demonstrations and lead architecture discussions involving Kubernetes, containers, software supply chain security, and cloud infrastructure.
- Design and execute proof-of-concepts, guide customer engineering teams through deployment and validation, and troubleshoot evaluation issues.
- Present the platform to technical and executive audiences and educate customers on cloud-native security best practices.
- Advise customers on Kubernetes, container, software supply chain, and vulnerability security, including compliance initiatives.
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to influence product direction through customer feedback.
- Create technical collateral, competitive positioning, and enablement content, and mentor junior Solutions Engineers.
- Represent RapidFort at customer meetings, executive briefings, conferences, and industry events.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Pre-Sales supporting enterprise cybersecurity or cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Strong expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, containers, OCI images, cloud-native architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of container image construction, multi-stage Docker builds, image optimization, Kubernetes deployments, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of software supply chain security, SBOMs, vulnerability management, CVEs, container security, and DevSecOps.
- Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles exceeding six months and communicating with engineers, architects, CISOs, and executive leadership.
- Preferred experience includes cybersecurity platforms, Cloud Security, CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, software supply chain security, and regulated customers such as DoD or federal agencies.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Preferred familiarity with Sigstore, Cosign, SLSA, SPDX, CycloneDX, or related software supply chain technologies.
- U.S. citizenship is required; an active security clearance is a plus but not required.
- Strong presentation, communication, executive presence, workshop leadership, collaboration, ownership, and customer focus are required.
