Senior Fiserv DNA Developer / Integration Consultant

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support integrations between Fiserv DNA and third-party applications.
- Work with DNAconnect, DNA Core API transactions, Communicator Open, and other applicable DNA integration interfaces.
- Translate banking requirements into technical designs, interface specifications, and data mappings.
- Implement authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, retries, duplicate-request handling, and transaction reconciliation.
- Develop or enhance DNAapps using DNAcreator when required.
- Create automated integration tests and support end-to-end, regression, and business acceptance testing.
- Diagnose integration issues across DNA, middleware, and connected systems while collaborating with clients and vendors.
- Support releases, upgrades, production readiness, technical handover, and operational documentation.
Requirements
- Demonstrable hands-on development or integration experience with Fiserv DNA and direct experience using DNA APIs or integration interfaces.
- Experience delivering or supporting at least one DNA-related solution in a production financial-services environment.
- Strong software development skills in the languages and frameworks used in prior DNA engagements, with the ability to identify the technical stack.
- Experience with API integration, structured data formats, database queries, and troubleshooting across connected systems.
- Understanding of banking concepts including members or customers, accounts, deposits, lending, balances, and transactions.
- Experience building secure and reliable integrations involving sensitive financial information.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and vendor specialists.
- Canadian location and ability to provide services as an independent contractor.
- Experience with Canadian credit unions, DNAcreator, DNAapps, Fiserv AppMarket, multiple DNA versions, upgrades, conversions, digital banking, loan origination, CRM, payments, reporting platforms, C#/.NET, SQL, Oracle/PLSQL, middleware, or cloud platforms is an asset.
