Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain C# automated tests for APIs, services, data pipelines, risk modeling, and custom data and risk feeds.
- Build Playwright end-to-end and UI automation for interactive risk-modeling and visualization interfaces across web and mobile.
- Create and own test frameworks, reusable libraries, and test data, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Validate data quality, entitlement and permissioning, and personalization across products.
- Use AI tooling to accelerate test creation, coverage analysis, and test maintenance.
- Partner with engineering teams to define acceptance criteria, review coverage, and embed quality early in the development process.
- Triage test failures, log defects with clear reproduction steps, and support root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to regression, performance, reliability, integration, contract, and data validation testing.
- Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- Solid test automation experience with strong C# coding skills and experience writing production-quality automation code.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or comparable modern UI and end-to-end frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium.
- Experience automating API and service tests using REST, ideally including streaming or gRPC, as well as integration tests.
- Ability to write maintainable code and build and own test frameworks.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases for data validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, with fluent spoken and written English.
- Interest in AI-assisted testing and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Preferred experience includes testing financial, trading, risk, data-heavy, real-time or streaming products, charting or visualization interfaces, mobile applications, performance and load testing, observability, BDD, contract testing, and AI-assisted coding tools.
