Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap for Flink scheduling and deployment.
- Provide technical leadership and set high standards for design and operational excellence.
- Drive the architecture and execution of complex software projects from inception to production.
- Lead contributions to open-source software, particularly in Apache Flink.
- Act as a subject matter expert for troubleshooting large-scale technical stacks.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers to foster a culture of excellence.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in stream processing and distributed systems.
- Strong experience in the architecture and development of large-scale distributed systems.
- Expert-level understanding of cloud engineering principles and mission-critical systems.
- Proficiency in Go, Java, Scala, or Rust.
