Responsibilities
- Implement multi-context authoring and visual feedback in the Unity Editor so humans and AI agents can work together without conflicts.
- Modernize the Unity Editor in collaboration with UX designers.
- Write and maintain robust automated tests for Editor tool reliability and stability.
- Work regularly with users to gather feedback, resolve issues, and guide tool evolution.
- Translate user needs into clear software requirements and well-defined tasks.
- Participate in team-wide bug fixing across a broad range of domains.
Requirements
- Strong C# programming skills.
- Good technical knowledge of the Unity Editor gained through using it to build projects.
- Experience with automated testing methodologies.
- Ability to make technical decisions with awareness of their user impact.
- Openness to using AI-assisted development tools in daily work.
- Preferred: experience shipping games or other Unity-made products.
- Preferred: experience developing features and APIs with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code or Copilot.
- Preferred: C++ skills.
